Designer Camera Strap Review – Pepper

Posted by admin On April - 26 - 2009

Pepper Designer Camera StrapSpice up your camera” is Pepper’s Logo, and it certainly is what they do with this great product. I’ve been using my “Galaxy” strap for about a week now and I have to say I never knew a strap could make this much difference. This product review is completely voluntary but Pepper Straps was kind enough to send me one for review at my request. I had needed a new strap for my Atlanta photography sessions and heard good things about this company. Lori Nordstrom, the owner of the company, asked what design I’d like (they have a ton of choices) and I asked that she decide for me…

.

The package arrived in a few days with a personal hand-written thank you note, a waterproof nylon bag with shoulder straps, and a Pepper Logo temporary tattoo – even if I had decided to hate this strap I would have to admit that the presentation and delivery was worth the money. Lori is a successful pro and it shows through in her new company – any good photographer (or business person) knowns that the way to succeed in any business is to show both your clients and providers the great appreciation you have for their business.

The main reason I wanted a new strap was because I was finding that the Canon straps are too short for me to extend my arms with, and I’m not a big fan of red marks around my neck from rough materials. In short, I wasn’t even putting the Canon strap around my neck anymore.

With that said, here is what I determined of this strap:

PROS

Softer, Longer, and more durable than your stock camera strap

Holds up to 80lb

Designer Camera Strap

Quick-Release clips (I’d love to have a few other designs to match my wardrobe..hint, hint)

CONS

Longer than your stock camera strap (personal preference) – this strap doesn’t shorten up very much.

Addicting designs – you’ll want more than one to match your clothing.
